Kiss the Cook!

Rosé and pasta night in the Normandie countryside from May

That's right, I'm a chef now too.

Major sike LOL I can make almond butter toast, cook veggies, successfully follow my mom's brownie recipe, and... that's about it. But I promise this is so so easy, so yummy and pretty healthy! One of those meals that sneaks vegetables in without you noticing too much. Hope you enjoy, Bon Appetit!

INGREDIENTS🍝

butter/oil, garlic, oregano, salt & pepper, chilli flakes (optional) pasta/gnocchi of choice, cherry tomatoes, spinach, cream, chicken broth/stock of choice, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese shrimp/protein of choice, side of choice (bread, salad)

1. Put some butter or oil in a pan on medium heat, then add 3-4 cloves of garlic, let the garlic get slightly cooked.

2. Cook bow-tie pasta or pasta/gnocchi of choice during this in a separate pot with water.

3. Add 2-3 cups of halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and let them blister.

4. Add 4 cups (ish) of spinach, and oregano, salt & pepper + chilli flakes to taste. I don't add chilli flakes to mine bc I have mixed feelings about spicy food and it still tastes bomb. Let the spinach wilt.

5. Add 1 cup cream and 1 cup chicken broth (or whatever stock you want) and half a cup of Parmesan cheese to the pan.

6. Let it simmer until sauce thickens.

7. *Optional* add however much shrimp or protein of choice. If you're using shrimp, let it cook till pink if raw, if it’s cooked to begin with add it at the very end.

8. Drain pasta and put in a baking dish big enough for the sauce as well. Save pasta water incase it seems dry in the dish before baking, you could add some.

9. Add sauce to pasta and combine/mix.

10. Add one cup of mozzarella cheese on top.

11. Bake at 350 Fahrenheit until cheese is melted.

12. Side: whole wheat buns with garlic butter, salad

Voilà!!!
Enjoy :)
